• Smoking Cessation

    Smoking is a learned habit. You can quit with the support of a group and caring instructor. Identify smoking behavior patterns; learn about the pros and cons of nicotine reduction therapy. Create a successful quitting plan and learn how to get through the rough spots of recovery and stay tobacco free. Based on the Freedom From Smoking program of the American Lung Association. This class runs for 7 weeks, with eight 2- hour sessions.

    Location: 365B Tesconi Circle, Santa Rosa (SR) and Petaluma Health Center (PHC), 1301A Southpoint Blvd, Petaluma

    Fee: $125 (sliding scale available based on income)

Programs include up-to-date information on disease and disease processes, tools for self-care, and skills for lifestyle modification. Participants are motivated to set goals and make real life changes.
