Nutritional Counseling / Medical Nutrition Therapy

If you have a medical problem that is impacted by nutrition, or general nutrition concerns, individual nutritional counseling can help. The Center’s registered dietitians can offer individually tailored information and recommendations based on your specific health concerns and food preferences. The Center works with your physician to ensure that nutritional recommendations support your health needs and goals. Medical nutrition therapy is provided by registered dietitians by physician referral, in English or in Spanish.
Smoke-Free Babies / Case Management

Are you pregnant? Are you a Mom with a new baby or a baby under six months of age? And you’d like to protect your child from the harmful effects of smoke? Smoke-Free Babies is a new program designed to for Moms & Moms-to-Be who want to quit smoking and provide a smoke free environment for their new baby. The program includes private appointments with a smoking cessation counselor and a weekly support group with other Moms who want to quit smoking or who have recently quit. No fee. Health Coaching
Health Coaching is an individualized service that the Center provides to those who are committed to achieving their personal wellness goals. Whatever you health goal may be, the Center will pair you with a certified healthcare professional to create an individualized program that fits your specific lifestyle and health needs. Personal Fitness Training
Kick-start your exercise program with personal training at the Center for Well-Being. Training packages include a fitness assessment and goal setting, instruction in cardiovascular activity, strength training and flexibility and recommendations to vary workouts. The core staff includes registered nurses, registered dietitians, health educators and exercise physiologists. Other contract personnel include respiratory therapists, mental health practitioners, gerontologists, and physicians.
