Executive Director
Alena Wall, MA, CHES has been Executive Director of the Center for Well-Being since April 2007. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist with a Masters' degree in Holistic Health Education, a BS in Health Science, and over a decade of experience designing and administering health education programs.
Management Staff
Annette Zucconi, M.Ed., Wellness Center Operations Manager
Annette Zucconi holds a Master of Arts in Education: Curriculum, Teaching and Learning, and a specialization in Educational Technology. With over 20 years in school-based and non-profit community education, she brings a breadth of experience in curriculum design, contract and program management experience to the Center for Well-Being. She is responsible for system oversight to ensure smooth organizational operations, and oversees all health promotion classes provided by the Center for Well-Being.
Michelle House, Health Education Grant Manager
Michelle House holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Women’s Studies
from the University of Santa Cruz. She has worked in public health for over 20 years in
Australia and the United States. Ms. House has extensive experience in coordinating
health promotion programs in grant writing, teen pregnancy prevention, tobacco control
and asthma prevention.

The core staff includes registered nurses, registered dietitians, health educators and exercise physiologists. Other contract personnel include respiratory therapists, mental health practitioners, gerontologists, and physicians.
