Celebration of Dreams 2011
September 16, 2011 - The Northern California Center for Well-Being proudly celebrated its 15 year anniversary during it's annual Celebration of Dreams event this past fall. The event had over 250 people in attendance and successfully raised over $57,000 to offset the 45% of the Center's client base that receives sliding scale or free services. The Celebration of Dreams Event honors leaders in Sonoma County who demonstrated their commitment to individual, family and community health.
HeartWorks Open House Celebration!
July 25, 2011 - The Center for Well-Being and Northern California Medical Associates celebrated 15 years of working together to provide cardiac rehabilitation services to Sonoma County.
Healthier Living
The Center has recently launched a new self-care program focused on living well with a chronic disease.
Living with an ongoing health condition such as diabetes, obesity, arthritis, or anxiety doesn’t mean that you have to be ruled by it. Workshops are highly participative, where mutual support and success build each participant’s confidence in their ability to manage their health and maintain active and fulfilling lives. This evidence-based program developed by Stanford University, is facilitated by two trained leaders, 2.5 hours, once a week, for six weeks.
